The Property

Cedar Log Cabin, sits in a five acre paddock in the grounds of a large country estate in Welsh Frankton, 3 miles from Ellesmere Shropshire renowned for its seven Meres (lakes), Cremore Gradens, recently restored Boathouse and the Wharf on the Llangollen Canal.

Our log cabin is one of Shropshire’s most unique self- catering properties a charming alternative to the usual Shropshire cottages. Many of our Shropshire visitors tell us that it is a special experience and a real first class 5 star self catering holiday.

The Cabin provides visitors with a high quality open plan accommodation, with contemporary fixtures and furnishings throughout. The spacious front terrace overlooks the paddock, and is great for relaxing and dining al fresco.

Wonderful views over the Shropshire Plains can be found from the Cabin and the area is renowned for scenic walks, fishing, boating, sailing and wildlife. Shropshire has many renowned historic and visitors attractions and the Log Cabin is close to many for our guests to explore including Oswestry, Chester, Shrewsbury, the World Heritage Centre at Ironbridge, Ludlow Castle and many National Trust properties.

Accommodation

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin & WC, 1 x twin. Bathroom with double ended bath, shower over, basin & WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area & sitting area & doors to front terrace.

Amenities

Solar heating for hot water, plus oil filled radiators throughout. Double electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, wall-mounted flat screen combi TV/DVD/CD/radio in all rooms. All solar power, electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front terrace with furniture, plus BBQ, lawned area & use of 5 acres of parkland. Well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs & restaurants 3 miles (nearest pub 20 mins walk). Note: Babes in arms Adults only, please.
